Computing
At Les Landes School, we envision leveraging technology to foster an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that equips our children with the digital competencies essential for their future. Aligned with the Government of Jersey's Digital Education Strategy, our goal is to seamlessly integrate digital tools into our curriculum, enhancing educational experiences and outcomes. We are committed to ensuring equitable access to technology for all students, promoting responsible digital citizenship, and preparing our learners to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
The Computing curriculum is taught discreetly where necessary and cross-curricular links are made wherever possible. The strands taught are:
- Digital literacy
- Computer Science
- E-Safety
The number of PCs and ipads per class allows technology to be used to support the curriculum at any time and children are encouraged to decide themselves when they want to use them.
