Welcome back to our existing families, a warm welcome to our new Reception class and to the eleven new children joining across the school. We are looking forward to reconnecting with you all tomorrow; the gate will be open at 0830 for an 0845 prompt start. Ahead of tomorrow, here are a few notices!
Building update
As I write this, there are still building contractors in the school completing a number of large projects. The servery is not finished so we are not in a position to offer hot lunches yet. We have had doors knocked through, a new PE store created, outdoor storage created, toilets refurbished and a new Breakfast Club kitchen installed. There are portacabins outside the front of the school, please take care when dropping off and collecting from Y1 and Y2 because they are obstructing the view of the playground.

Rec - Tuesday Y4 - Tuesday and Thursday
Y1 - Wednesday and Thursday Y5 - Wednesday and Friday

Bikeability for Y5
A reminder that Y5 need their bikes on Thursday 5th September for the Bikeability assessment ahead of their course next Friday.
Meet The Teacher
Tuesday 10th September, 6-7pm. All parents and carers are invited. This is an opportunity to understand the curriculum your child will be following and know how you can support them. You will also hear about the current position of the school, last year's achievements and next year's priorities.

If your child requires an epipen / inhaler please ensure it is brought into school tomorrow and check it is in date. Thank you.
Nasal flu vaccination letters
These will be coming home with your child this week. Please return them promptly, even if you are declining.
Clubs and field use after school
All school led clubs will recommence on the first full week back, Monday 16th September. Netball will be on Mondays and football on Fridays, so the days that the field will be open after school will be Wednesday and Thursday.
If you have booked and you no longer require the place please let us know this week. Breakfast Club is currently full and we are running a wait list. Children access through the main front door, which will be open at 0745.
